MLS All-Star Game Roster Announced for July Showdown

CHICAGO (June 25, 2025) – Major League Soccer unveiled the 26-player roster for the 2025 MLS All-Star Game, set for July 23 at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. The match will feature MLS All-Stars competing against top talent from Liga MX at 8 p.m. CT.
The roster was created through a mix of fan, player, and media voting, with 12 selections made. MLS All-Star coach Nico Estévez chose 12 players, and MLS Commissioner Don Garber added two commissioner picks.
Among notable selections is FC Cincinnati midfielder Evander, who is in his first season with the club and has already tallied 13 goal contributions. Winger Miles Robinson, recognized for his strong performances, has received All-Star honors for the second consecutive year.
Others who made the All-Star roster include MLS Golden Boot frontrunner Denis Bouanga and Logan Steffen, both having standout seasons. Bouanga leads his team and is a key player in the MVP conversation, while Steffen is known for his consistent goalkeeping, including several clean sheets this season.
Real Salt Lake‘s Diego Luna, who has already matched last season’s scoring total of eight goals, is also among the selected All-Stars. He is recognized for his role as a playmaker on his team and his performances with the U.S. Men’s National Team.
MLS All-Stars such as Lionel Messi, who continues to impress, and impactful players from other teams round out the roster. Each player has brought unique skills and contributions to their clubs throughout the season.
This year’s All-Star game is especially notable as it will showcase the talents of the best players in North America against Liga MX’s elite. Fans can expect an exciting matchup filled with skilled athletes from both leagues.
