Scheduled to perform on the ‘Gobi Stage’ on April 13 and 20, Ramadan will join a star-studded lineup that includes global music icons like Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, and Travis Scott.

This milestone represents a groundbreaking cultural moment, as it is the first instance of an Egyptian artist being invited to perform at one of the world’s most celebrated music festivals. Popular for its eclectic mix of established and emerging talents, Coachella draws hundreds of thousands of music enthusiasts from around the world at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.

Since announcing his participation in November 2024, Ramadan has garnered significant attention on social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, where he shares updates about his journey to America. His posts, beginning April 4, depict his arrival in Los Angeles with his family and include moments from road trips and family fun.

While preparing for his Coachella performance, Ramadan has kept his fans engaged by releasing new music. His latest track, ‘2aloo Eh,’ dropped on April 4, featuring his distinctive bold lyrics and vibrant presentation. Additionally, on March 17, he collaborated on ‘Rolla Rolla,’ a multilingual hit with artists French Montana, Rusha & Blizza, Jasmine S, and DJ Shadow.

Ramadan rose to prominence as a television and film actor before embarking on a successful music career. Over the past six years, he has gained recognition for his unique blend of rap, pop, and Mahraganat, with major hits like ‘Bum Bum,’ ‘Baba,’ and ‘Aladdin Lamp.’ His debut at Coachella not only signifies a personal achievement but also reflects progress in Middle Eastern representation within global pop culture.
