Mohanlal Hospital News

Popular Malayalam actor Mohanlal has recently been hospitalized due to health concerns. Reports indicate that he was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi after experiencing severe symptoms, including a high-grade fever and breathing difficulties.

According to a statement from Amrita Hospital, Mohanlal, aged 64, is suspected to have a viral respiratory infection. Doctors have advised him to take a five-day rest and avoid crowded places to aid his recovery.

These health concerns arose shortly after the news of his hospitalization became public. However, reassuring images of the actor have surfaced from a rehearsal camp for the upcoming rainfall award ceremony, where he was seen in good spirits.

Mohanlal is known for his dedication to fitness, ensuring he maintains a rigorous gym routine no matter how busy he gets. His trainer has confirmed his commitment to working out regularly.

On the professional front, Mohanlal is gearing up for his directorial debut with the film ‘Barroz’, which is set to release in October. He had previously mentioned that this movie is aimed at children.

‘Barroz’ is a fantasy drama based on Jijo Punnoose’s novel and has faced multiple delays since it was announced back in 2019. The film, produced by Antony Perumbavoor, started filming in 2021 and can’t wait to hit the screens.

Moreover, this month, Mohanlal showed his support for the disaster-struck region of Wayanad by pledging a generous contribution of ₹3 crore. He expressed deep concern for the affected families, stating that each loss is a personal tragedy.
