Josie Gibson and Stephen Mulhern were spotted sharing a sweet moment backstage at the filming of Saturday Night Takeaway this weekend, as part of the star-studded cast on Ant and Dec‘s popular show.

The long-time friends and presenters, affiliated with ITV, were caught holding hands during rehearsals, sparking speculation among fans and the media.

Asked about their relationship status, Josie, known for her appearances on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, jokingly responded, ‘I’m in love with Stephen Mulhern. There you go.’ However, she quickly added, ‘But, story of my life, I don’t think he loves me.’

During her time in Paris, Josie had shared a picture holding hands with Sam Morter, a cameraman, leading to previous rumors. She clarified, ‘I am not with Sam Morter. I love Sam Morter, he is my work colleague, I’m like his older sister. I’m like his auntie.’

Single mom Josie Gibson, who split from her son Reggie‘s father, Terry, when their child was only five months old, declared herself single on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in December, seeking help from fellow contestant Fred Sirieix to set her up.

Gemmy Bissix, an EastEnders actress known for her role as Honey, was previously in a relationship with Stephen Mulhern, but they separated in 2011. Stephen, currently believed to be single, confessed in an interview, ‘Last time I went on a date was about four years ago. That makes me sound really sad! I need a life. I need to stop working so much.’

Representatives for Stephen Mulhern and Josie Gibson have been contacted for further comments on their close bond backstage at Saturday Night Takeaway.
