Munjya‘s box office performance on its second day has exceeded expectations, with the horror-comedy film earning nearly ₹7 crore in India. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie has showcased a positive trend at the ticket counters.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Munjya features a talented cast including Mona Singh, Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj. The film’s success on Saturday, where it collected ₹6.75 crore nett, has contributed to its overall earnings of roughly ₹10.75 crore nett so far.

Munjya has proven to be a surprise hit in the film industry, particularly given its lack of A-list actors. The compelling storytelling and advanced CGI technology have played a significant role in attracting audiences and driving the film’s box office success.

In an Instagram post, Maddock Films expressed excitement over Munjya’s box office performance, highlighting the film’s record-breaking collections on the first day. The movie’s strong start is a testament to the captivating storyline and technical brilliance displayed in the production.

Sharvari Wagh, one of the lead actors in Munjya, shared her joy at the audience’s positive response to the film. She commended the team for their hard work and expressed gratitude to the producer, Dinesh Vijan, and director, Aditya Sarpotdar, for their belief in her performance.

Munjya is set in Pune and the Konkan region of Maharashtra, drawing inspiration from Marathi folklore. The film unfolds the tale of the mythical creature, ‘Munjya,’ and its disruptive impact on the characters portrayed by the ensemble cast.
