LOS ANGELES, CA — Actor Kirk Douglas recently spoke to police about Natalie Wood, decades after her mysterious disappearance. In a conversation with Detective Chief Thad Brown, Douglas shared his foggy memories of working with Wood on the film Young Man With a Horn.

Douglas recalled, “I told Detective Chief Thad Brown that I didn’t remember the girl or the name until a friend recalled it was she who worked as an extra in a scene with me in my picture.” He further described her as “a tall girl in a green dress” and mentioned they shared light-hearted moments during the filming. However, he emphasized, “But I never saw her before or after that and have never been out with her.”

Natalie Wood disappeared on November 29, 1981, while on a boat trip with her husband, actor Robert Wagner, and Walken, who was co-starring with her in another project at the time. Despite numerous investigations, her case remains unsolved, causing ongoing speculation about the events leading to her death.
