Natasha Lyonne Red Carpet Independent Spirit Awards 2025

Santa Monica, Calif. — Actress Natasha Lyonne showcased her chic style alongside boyfriend Bryn Mooser during the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards held Saturday. The 45-year-old star made a striking entrance on the red carpet, donning a sleeveless dress featuring a brown sheer floral overlay, accentuated by a thick belt.

Lyonne complemented her outfit with cream platform boots and gold accessories, including earrings and a delicate bracelet on her left wrist. Her hair, styled in voluminous curls, flowed down past her shoulders, completing her glamorous look.

n

“It’s always nice to take a moment to celebrate our craft,” Lyonne said during a brief interview on the red carpet. “I’m excited for what’s to come this year.”

During the event, Lyonne was seen posing affectionately with Mooser, a filmmaker, who sported a sharp casual ensemble of black jeans, a white dress shirt, and a coordinating black blazer. The couple has largely kept their relationship private but was first romantically linked in October 2023.

The couple appeared at ease during the awards ceremony, strolling arm in arm as they mingled with fellow celebrities, including Hunter Schafer from *Euphoria* and Nava Mau from *Baby Reindeer*.

Lyonne appeared on stage later in the evening alongside Patti LuPone to present an award, and did not miss the opportunity to discuss her upcoming projects, including *The Fantastic Four: First Steps*. “I couldn’t say no to being part of a Marvel movie; it’s a dream come true,” she shared. “But, of course, I can’t reveal too much.”

n

Following May’s news of her casting alongside stars such as Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby, Lyonne humorously teased about her role, saying, “I play a character named Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson—just kidding!”

n

Lyonne is also set to lend her voice to a character in the animated *Smurfs* movie featuring Rihanna, promising a comical role that she hints is far from conventional. “Let’s just say I’m not playing a Smurfette,” she laughed.

n

The star, known for her standout role in *Poker Face*, also confirmed that filming for the second season wrapped late last year.

n

Her partner, Mooser, who was beside her during the *Saturday Night Live* 50th anniversary special last week, expressed support for Lyonne’s endeavors. “I’m proud of everything she is achieving,” he said, echoing sentiments of admiration for his girlfriend’s talent.

As the awards ceremony concluded, Lyonne and Mooser left the venue, with fans eagerly anticipating both their upcoming projects and further glimpses into their relationship.
