Nbc Found Season 2

The NBC television series ‘Found‘ has returned for its highly anticipated second season, bringing back many of the stars from its premiere season along with introducing new faces to its cast. The show, which airs on Thursday nights at 10/9c, delves into riveting narratives involving missing persons and the complexities surrounding their disappearances.

Gabi Mosely, portrayed by actress Shanola Hampton, continues to lead the series as a public relations specialist dedicated to finding overlooked individuals who have gone missing. According to NBC, the character is driven by her own past as a forgotten missing person and now works with a crisis management team to ensure others receive the attention they lacked. Gabi, however, harbors a dark secret that adds layers to the show’s unfolding drama.

This season, ‘Found’ occupies a new time slot, succeeding the broadcast of ‘Law & Order: SVU,’ and has been tasked with replacing ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime.’ The transition follows Organized Crime’s move from the lineup, which has sparked interest among fans and television analysts about how well ‘Found’ will perform in this critical evening slot.

The second season picks up with a cliffhanger from the previous season, where Gabi’s team is still searching for Lacey, one of their members. The procedural elements of the show promise to mix with a continuous storyline, keeping audiences engaged with new cases and the ongoing mystery of Lacey’s whereabouts. Viewers can expect a mix of single-episode stories and broader season arcs, a balance similar to the respective styles of its timeslot predecessors.

Industry experts view ‘Found’ as a fitting addition to NBC’s Thursday night lineup because of its procedural and serialized storytelling. This strategic programming move aims to retain audiences familiar with the ‘Law & Order’ franchise and other similarly styled dramas on the network.

New episodes of ‘Found’ can be watched on Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on NBC, with streaming options available on Peacock the following day.
