Netflix Brings Upside Down to Life with Themed Dining Experience in Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — As fans eagerly await the release of Season 5 of “Stranger Things,” Netflix has launched a unique dining experience designed to immerse visitors in the nostalgic world of Hawkins. The pop-up restaurant, known as Netflix Bites, opened at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, inviting fans to savor dishes inspired by some of their favorite shows.
Following a successful run in Los Angeles, Netflix Bites has transformed into a culinary hotspot in Las Vegas. Excitement has been building since filming for the latest season wrapped, but the official trailer remains under wraps. According to insiders, Season 5 is expected to premiere in late 2025 or early 2026. In the meantime, Netflix is providing fans an opportunity to experience the show’s iconic culinary moments first-hand.
The Netflix Bites menu features signatures from beloved series including “Stranger Things,” “Squid Game,” and “Bridgerton.” The dining concept mirrors popular theme park experiences, allowing fans to interact with their favorite shows on multiple levels, from unique menu items to thematic décor and staff costumes.
Among the standout offerings is “Eleven’s Feast,” a towering stack of waffles paired with crispy fried chicken and bacon. Fans can also indulge in “Surfer Boy Pizza,” reflecting the cultural phenomenon inspired by Argyle’s character, which has captivated social media users and prompted a line of frozen pizzas sold at major retailers.
“When fans find a show they like, they don’t just want to love it—they want to live it,” said Josh Simon, Netflix’s vice president of consumer products. “Las Vegas knows how to immerse fans in over-the-top worlds. MGM is the ideal partner in bringing original storytelling to life through food and drink experiences.”
The soft opening period of Netflix Bites allows guests to explore the interactive menu, which is filled with dishes and drinks that bring each series to life. Starting February 20, 2025, advance reservations will be available. In the meantime, the pop-up restaurant is open for walk-in guests.
The restaurant operates throughout the day, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast highlights include Regency Tea for “Bridgerton” fans, while lunch and dinner boast an array of themed choices such as tempura-battered onion petals inspired by Netflix’s “Knives Out.” “Squid Game” enthusiasts can participate in a culinary challenge with the “Red Bite, Green Bite” appetizer, where diners spin a wheel to determine their dish.
As Netflix continues to blend food and popular culture, the Netflix Bites experience is more than just a meal—it’s a fully realized immersion into the world of streaming. With vibrant flavors and nostalgic references, the restaurant promises a delicious adventure for all fans of Netflix’s expansive library.
With the opening of Netflix Bites, fans are invited to step into the Upside Down like never before. Reservations are encouraged as the restaurant aims to offer an unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Las Vegas.
