Netflix Debuts WWE Raw, Marks John Cena’s Farewell Tour
Netflix has officially become the exclusive home of WWE Monday Night Raw, marking a historic shift for the 31-year-old wrestling program. Starting Monday, January 6, 2025, the show will stream live on Netflix in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Latin America, kicking off a new era for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and the beginning of John Cena‘s farewell tour.
The debut of WWE Raw on Netflix is part of a 10-year, $5 billion agreement signed in January 2024. The deal grants Netflix the option to extend the partnership after five years. The show will air live from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET, featuring top wrestlers like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Bianca Belair.
John Cena, a WWE icon, announced in July 2024 that he would retire from wrestling in 2025 after a farewell tour spanning 30 to 40 matches. Cena, who has balanced wrestling with a successful acting career, expressed excitement about his final year in the ring.
