LOS ANGELES, CA — The long-awaited third season of ‘Ginny & Georgia‘ is set to premiere on June 5, 2025, on Netflix. The show, which follows the complicated relationship between a mother and her daughter, has captivated fans and critics alike.

On May 8, Netflix released an intense trailer that reveals Georgia, portrayed by Brianne Howey, facing trial for murder. The trailer opens with Ellen, played by Jennifer Robertson, attempting to lighten the mood, saying, ‘You know what I loved about your wedding? It wasn’t this cookie-cutter, copy-and-paste affair.’ Georgia humorously responds, ‘Especially the part where I was arrested.’

For Ginny, portrayed by Antonia Gentry, her mother’s trial creates a whirlwind at school. She feels the judgment of her peers, saying, ‘Everyone at school’s looking at me like I’m in the circus.’ Her friend Max, played by Sara Waisglass, tries to reassure her but struggles to lighten the heavy situation. ‘Your college essay writes itself,’ she tells Ginny, who still feels the weight of her mom’s predicament.

Georgia is battling her own demons, grappling with the reality of her situation. ‘Everyone thinks I’m a violent, unhinged monster,’ she admits. Her lawyer warns her, ‘First-degree murder is life without the possibility of parole,’ further escalating her anxiety. All the while, Georgia tries to find humor in her situation, saying to Joe, characterized by Raymond Ablack, ‘At least it can’t get any worse, right?’

Despite the chaos, Ginny remains committed to supporting her mother. ‘I’ve always known she’s different. There’s more to her that people don’t see,’ Ginny declares, asserting her belief in Georgia. Yet, doubts begin to creep in as Ginny confides in Zion, played by Nathan Mitchell, expressing her struggle: ‘I am trying so hard to protect her, but I don’t even know if it’s the right thing to do.’

As the trailer draws to a close, Georgia offers reassurance to her daughter, stating, ‘We’re in this together — ride or die.’ But Ginny questions the implications, asking, ‘Where are we riding and why do we have to die?’ The scene ends with Paul, Ginny’s father, expressing his frustration and leaving the kitchen.

‘Ginny & Georgia’ season 3 premieres on June 5, promising another thrilling chapter in the lives of these unforgettable characters.
