Stranger Things Season 5 Trailer Release

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Netflix has released the final trailer for the much-anticipated fifth season of ‘Stranger Things,’ set to premiere on November 26, 2025. This trailer offers fans an action-packed glimpse of the Hawkins crew as they prepare to confront the villain Vecna and the threats from the Upside Down.

The season, which will be divided into three volumes — Volume 1 with four episodes, Volume 2 with three episodes on Christmas Day, and the series finale on New Year’s Eve — promises to take viewers on an emotional and thrilling ride through the fall of 1987.

In the storyline, the characters are united by the goal of locating and defeating Vecna, who has mysteriously vanished. Unfortunately for them, the government has imposed a military quarantine on Hawkins, intensifying its hunt for Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown. Co-creator Matt Duffer elaborated that they spent a full year filming this season and accumulated over 650 hours of footage, making it their most ambitious work yet.

“It’s like eight blockbuster movies,” Duffer said. “There was a lot of crying during filming, and we believe that passion will translate to the screen.”

In the trailer, fans see Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Steve (Joe Keery) arguing about their plan to take down Vecna from inside a car, which humorously features a large radio dish on top. The preview also hints at heart-pounding moments with Demogorgons, high-speed chases, and the return of familiar characters aiming to save Hawkins.

“I want to see Vecna’s heart on a platter,” Dustin boldly declares, emphasizing the intense stakes involved. The creative team behind the series promises that the final episodes will deliver the depth and excitement that fans have come to love.

Stranger Things Season 5 will roll out its episodes at 5 p.m. PT on all premiere dates: November 26, December 25, and December 31, 2025. Fans can expect a cinematic experience, especially with the series finale screening in select theaters across the U.S. and Canada, a first for the show.
