Alert Missing Persons Unit New Episode Preview

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The highly anticipated third season of ‘Alert: Missing Persons Unit’ kicks off on Tuesday, April 1, with Jason standing at a crossroads as he navigates his professional relationship with Chief Inspector Bill Houston. The episode promises a series of dramatic confrontations and unexpected revelations for both characters.

In the exclusive first look shared by TV Insider, the tension begins to build when Houston steps off the elevator, while Jason is engaged in a phone conversation with Wayne (Alisha-Marie Ahamed). ‘These are my Vegas rules,’ Jason declares. ‘No slots, no strippers, and no shellfish.’ After hanging up, he jokingly questions Houston about whether he got lost en route to the golf course.

Houston, known for his no-nonsense attitude, retorts, ‘My five iron’s in the shop, so I thought I’d do some police work instead.’ The humorous exchange is quickly overshadowed when Houston asserts, ‘We’re going to start over, alright? I know you don’t like me.’ Jason promptly corrects him, stating, ‘I like you just fine,’ although he does hint at the underlying issues troubling their professional dynamic.

Chief Inspector Houston, portrayed by Warner, has stepped into the role with a reputation for enforcing structure and rules. As a former Army Captain, he has been critical of Jason’s unconventional methods in the past. However, as the new season unfolds, it appears Houston may start to recognize the effectiveness of those very tactics. This evolution could lead him to become a guiding figure for the Missing Persons Unit, offering a surprising twist in their relationship.

In the gripping season premiere titled ‘Badge #41870,’ the MPU faces a critical case when Nikki suddenly goes missing. As the team dives into the investigation, they uncover ties to Raina (Sharon Taylor), a vengeful criminal Nikki once incarcerated. The situation escalates when they learn that Raina has been hired by Irish mob boss Charlie McGannon to kidnap Nikki, igniting a race against time for the MPU to secure her safety before it’s too late.

‘Alert: Missing Persons Unit’ airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox, and this season is expected to deliver intense drama amid complex character developments.
