LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Netflix’s upcoming comedy film “72 Hours” has added several new cast members, including Teyana Taylor, Ben Marshall, Zach Cherry, and rising standup comedian Kam Patterson. The film centers around a 40-year-old executive who joins a group of twenty-somethings on a three-day bachelor party after being mistakenly added to their group text.

The film is directed by Tim Story, known for his work on the “Barbershop” and “Ride Along” franchises. The screenplay is by Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows, with Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg contributing to the original draft.

Kevin Hart leads the cast alongside Marcello Hernández and Mason Gooding, who were previously announced. “72 Hours” continues Hart’s collaboration with Netflix, where he has starred in multiple projects, including “Fatherhood” and “Lift.”

Producers of the film include John Davis for Davis Entertainment and Hart, Luke Kelly-Clyne, and Bryan Smiley for Hartbeat. Executive producers involved are John Fox, Jeremy Stein, and Vicky Mara Story, among others.

Teyana Taylor, who is represented by WME, is known for her music career, while Ben Marshall is famous for his work on “Saturday Night Live.” Zach Cherry, recognizable from “Severance,” has also joined the cast. This film marks Kam Patterson’s feature debut, adding fresh talent to the comedy genre.
