Mobland Crime Drama Cast Announcement

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The star-studded cast of Guy Ritchie‘s upcoming crime drama, ‘MobLand,’ has welcomed Emmy and two-time Oscar nominee Imogen Poots. The series is set to premiere on March 30, 2025, showcasing a gripping narrative centered on a London-based Irish crime family vying for dominance within a global syndicate.

Poots joins an impressive ensemble led by Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren. Brosnan portrays Conrad Harrigan, the patriarch of the crime family, while Mirren plays his wife Maeve, referred to as “the brains behind the charm.” Hardy takes on the role of Harry Da Souza, the family’s fixer tasked with navigating the seedy underbelly of crime.

In her role, McTeer plays Kat, described as “as charming as she is violent.” A character synopsis adds that “crime bosses from London to Beijing are anxious never to cross swords with her.” This multi-dimensional character promises to add depth to the narrative’s power struggles.

The cast of ‘MobLand’ also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber. The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios alongside 101 Studios, with Ritchie serving as executive producer alongside a team of notable figures from the entertainment industry.

McTeer is best known for her performances in ‘Tumbleweeds,’ for which she earned an Oscar nomination and won a Golden Globe, and ‘Albert Nobbs.’ With a recent portfolio that includes roles in Netflix’s ‘Kaos’ and ‘Ozark,’ McTeer’s involvement adds significant clout to the project. She is represented by MGMT Entertainment and Curtis Brown in the U.K.
