New Trailer Unveils Quest for Immortality in ‘Fountain of Youth’

April 2, 2025 — LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Apple TV+ has released the trailer for its upcoming film ‘Fountain of Youth,’ starring John Krasinski and Natalie Portman as estranged siblings seeking the legendary waters that promise immortality. The film is set to debut on May 23, 2025.

In the trailer, Krasinski’s character, Luke, reaches out to his sister, Charlotte, portrayed by Portman, after a long period of silence. Their conversation reveals the urgency of their quest, prompting Charlotte to ask, “Are you in trouble?”, to which Luke hesitantly admits he may need her help.

“You only call when you’re in trouble,” Charlotte points out, underscoring their fractured relationship. Despite their differences, they embark on a globe-trotting adventure across five continents, exploring a quest that spans thousands of years, according to Krasinski’s trailer dialogue.

The cast also includes Eiza González, Domhnall Gleeson, Arian Moayed, Laz Alonso, Carmen Ejogo, and Stanley Tucci. Each character brings unique talents to the journey, which is promised to be as much about sibling reconciliation as it is about the adventure itself.

‘Fountain of Youth’ is directed by Guy Ritchie, with a screenplay by James Vanderbilt. The film’s producers include David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Ivan Atkinson, Tripp Vinson, Jake Myers, and William Sherak.

This film is part of Apple TV+ and Skydance Media‘s partnership, following their recent projects such as ‘The Gorge’ and ‘Mayday.’ Apple continues to expand its film offerings through these collaborations.

“They must use their knowledge of history to follow clues on an epic adventure that will change their lives… and possibly lead to immortality,” reads the official film synopsis. The trailer also hints at thrilling action sequences, including car chases and conflicts set against iconic backdrops, such as the Egypt pyramids.

With a PG-13 rating, ‘Fountain of Youth’ is designed to appeal to family audiences, combining the classic theme of adventure with contemporary cinematic flair. The film aims to illustrate the importance of reclaiming lost familial bonds amidst an extraordinary quest.
