Footage of the event surfaced online, showing Nick Jonas signaling a “time out” with his hands before running off stage. The O2 Arena spokesperson stated to Variety, “We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person. The organizing service responded to this fact. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance.”

While representatives for the Jonas Brothers did not immediately reply to requests for comment, fans shared concerns on social media about the rising trend of security threats during live performances.
