Nicole Ari Parker Celebrates Family at NYC Premiere

NEW YORK CITY, NY — Actress Nicole Ari Parker brought her family to the New York City premiere of “And Just Like That…” on May 21, 2025. The event showcased her two children, 20-year-old Sophie and 18-year-old Nicolas, alongside her husband, Boris Kodjoe.

Parker, 54, dazzled on the red carpet in a shimmering gold dress, while Kodjoe, 52, looked sharp in a classic black suit. Their daughter, Sophie, posed with her arm around her mother in a colorful suit, and Nicolas sported a peach outfit with stylish red sunglasses.

This family gathering marks a significant moment for Parker, who cherishes the bond she shares with her children. “I talk to them every day,” she shared. “I’m solving issues every day. I’m totally still Mommy. It’s a beautiful time,” she added.

Parker’s close relationship with her children continues even as they lead independent lives. Sophie is currently completing her sophomore year at Howard University, while Nicolas plays professional basketball in Germany. In a previous interview, Parker expressed her love for motherhood, calling it one of her greatest gifts.

Reflecting on her marriage, which began in 2005, Parker emphasized the importance of compatibility with her husband. “You’ve got to be compatible,” she stated, underscoring the need for mutual love and support through challenges.
