Nicole Kidman To Star In Film Adaptation Of Gordon Reece's Novel 'mice'

Nicole Kidman has been tapped to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Gordon Reece’s debut novel ‘Mice.’ The movie will be directed by Justin Kurzel, known for his work on ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed.’ The production will be handled by Blossom Films and Made Up Stories, the same companies behind the successful series ‘Nine Perfect Strangers‘ and ‘The Undoing.’

‘Mice’ tells the story of a young girl named Shelley and her mother who seek refuge in a countryside cottage following a traumatic incident involving bullies and a difficult divorce. Their peaceful life is disrupted when an unwelcome guest arrives, triggering a dramatic turn of events that challenges their beliefs, safety, and resilience.

The talented team behind the film includes screenwriter Shaun Grant, who will pen the script. Kidman, Kurzel, Grant, Bruna Papandrea, Per Saari, Steve Hutensky, and Jodi Matterson will serve as producers.

This adaptation promises to captivate audiences with its exploration of family dynamics, resilience, and the human capacity for change. With Kidman’s proven acting prowess and the stellar creative team involved, ‘Mice’ is set to deliver a thought-provoking and emotionally charged cinematic experience.
