Nile University Students Spark Controversy With Extravagant Lifestyle Tiktok Video

Three female students from Nile University in Abuja have caused quite a stir on social media with their TikTok video, showcasing their extravagant lifestyles. The video, which followed the trend of the ‘Of Course’ challenge on TikTok, portrays the students flaunting their wealth, freedom, professor connections, and luxurious cars.

The ‘Of Course’ challenge on TikTok involves presenting one’s profession, and in this particular video, the Nile University students showcased themselves as the epitome of luxury and privilege. They claimed to have the freedom to leave school whenever they wished and boasted about driving opulent cars to campus. They also mentioned having strong connections with their professors.

One particular statement made in the video stood out, as the girls stated that a student at Nile University should not live on an allowance of N200,000. This comment attracted a lot of attention and sparked a flurry of reactions from social media users.

Many users were both impressed and envious of the students’ supposedly lavish lifestyle. One user commented, ‘You be Nile students…. of course make all una getaaat,’ while another expressed their frustration, saying, ‘Omo… una don dey carry this challenge go where our hand no reach ooo.’ Another user humorously remarked, ‘You are a nice student, na the same NYSC camp we go enter.’ Yet another user felt the video highlighted their own financial shortcomings, commenting, ‘This video called me poor in different ways.’
