Nollywood actress Ayo Mogaji has recently disclosed the harrowing experiences she faced in her previous marriage, shedding light on the abuse she endured.

Mogaji, known for her stellar performances in various Nigerian movies, was romantically involved with fellow actor Jibola Dabo and shared a son with him before tying the knot with retired footballer and physiotherapist Victor Ayodele Oduleye in 2006.

During a podcast interview, the actress bravely opened up about the troubling dynamics of her relationship with Oduleye, highlighting the tumultuous twists it took.

Recalling the distressing moments, Mogaji revealed how she would often find solace sitting outside her home until someone else arrived, all in a bid to avoid being subjected to abuse.

She narrated how the love she once felt for Oduleye was overshadowed by the alarming frequency of abusive language, physical assaults, and mental torment, even extending to their time in England.

Mogaji expressed the deep-seated pain she endured for thirteen long years before finally deciding to break free from the toxic marriage four years ago, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and addressing such harmful relationships.
