North Carolina State Fair Reveals Exciting Attractions for 2025 Event

Raleigh, North Carolina — The North Carolina State Fair is set to take place from October 16 to October 26, 2025, at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. This year’s theme is “There’s No Time Like Fair Time,” and fair organizers are teasing numerous new attractions, rides, and food options.
New food items, although not yet announced, will make a splash this year, with more than 50 new options expected to debut. Fairgoers can look forward to expanding their taste buds as they explore the variety of culinary delights.
The Powers Great American Midway will also feature new rides, including three thrilling pendulum rides. These rides promise high-flying excitement, offering riders spins, turns, and the sensation of looping 360 degrees.
One of the standout rides sends eight riders on opposite ends of a giant pendulum, while another features four rows of outward-facing seats that can flip upside down and rotate as they soar into the sky. Another ride, Kamikaze, will feature two arms that flip enclosed carts in opposite directions, adding to the adrenaline rush.
In addition to rides, new entertainment options will be showcased this year. Highlighting the list is World Fastest Draw Champion Andy Rotz, who will present a Wild West-style show featuring trick roping, knife throwing, and gun slinging.
Another interactive experience, the Conjurer Fortune Machine, will offer fairgoers a unique twist on fortune telling. Participants can press a button to activate a live fortune teller who provides humorous insights and hands out souvenir fortune cards.
The popular performance, Cast in Bronze, will return to Heritage Circle after a successful appearance in 2022. Charlie St. Cyr-Paul will perform on a traveling musical instrument featuring 35 cast bronze bells, playing a captivating blend of popular music, classic rock, and movie soundtracks.
