Ohio State Basketball’s Aaron Bradshaw Not Participating in Team Activities Due to Undisclosed Reasons
Aaron Bradshaw, the starting center for the Ohio State men’s basketball team, is currently not participating in team activities, according to a statement released by the university. The reason for his absence remains unclear, as Ohio State cited federal privacy laws in declining to provide further details.
Bradshaw, who transferred to Ohio State this offseason after spending his freshman year at Kentucky, has been a key player for the Buckeyes, starting all four games this season and averaging 7.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game.
The university’s statement read, “Aaron Bradshaw is not currently participating in team activities. The university is following its established process. Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot share further information at this time.”.
Additionally, Bradshaw and starting forward Sean Stewart will both be absent from Ohio State’s game against Campbell on Friday. This comes after Bradshaw left the previous game against Evansville with what appeared to be a head injury, although the current absence is not specified to be related to that injury.
A public records search revealed a traffic citation for Bradshaw from July, where he was cited for speeding and failing to wear a seatbelt, but it is unclear if this is related to his current absence from team activities.
