OKX and Circle Launch CCTP Cryptopedia Campaign to Encourage USDC Swaps Across Blockchains on OKX DEX
OKX, a leading Web3 technology company, and Circle, a global fintech firm and issuer of USDC, have joined forces to launch the ‘CCTP Cryptopedia Campaign’. This campaign aims to incentivize users to swap USDC across different blockchains on the OKX DEX aggregator by offering them a chance to qualify for a share of a 50,000 USDC reward pool.
The CCTP Cryptopedia Campaign comes after the recent introduction of OKX DEX’s new USDC cross-chain bridge in December 2023. The bridge, powered by Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), enables seamless and secure swaps of USDC across Ethereum, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and the OP Mainnet. OKX DEX is one of the first decentralized exchange aggregators to provide this cutting-edge cross-chain USDC swap capability.
From January 16 to February 4, users participating in the CCTP Cryptopedia Campaign will have the opportunity to win a share of the 50,000 USDC prize pool. To qualify, users need to perform cross-chain swaps of 10 USDC or more using the OKX DEX. To participate in the campaign, users can access OKX Wallet’s Discover page within the OKX app, select Cryptopedia, the learn-to-earn crypto education platform, and complete the quest of performing a cross-chain USDC swap with ‘Circle’ selected as the trading route. After completing the quest, users should tap on ‘Verify’ to confirm their participation.
OKX Chief Innovation Officer Jason Lau expressed excitement about the campaign and the seamless USDC swaps across different blockchains on OKX DEX. Lau believes that cross-chain swaps of stablecoins are vital for users participating in the Web3 ecosystem and expects an enthusiastic response from the community. He also discussed plans to expand support for USDC swaps on more chains.
