LOS ANGELES, CA — Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo has announced she is expecting her first child with NFL star Christian McCaffrey. The couple, who tied the knot in June 2024, shared the joyful news on March 10 via Instagram, showcasing a series of heartfelt maternity photos.

Culpo, 32, posted black-and-white images during a shoot, captioning the post, “next chapter, motherhood 🤍.” In one photo, she was seen cradling her baby bump while walking hand-in-hand with McCaffrey, 28, indicating a celebration of their growing family.

Since their wedding, Culpo has expressed her hopes for children, often discussing her journey to motherhood publicly. In 2022, during an episode of her family’s reality show, she revealed concerns regarding her ability to conceive due to her diagnosis of endometriosis.

“I want to have kids, but I want to make sure that I can,” she said. “Endometriosis can affect your fertility in a lot of different ways.” Culpo admitted feeling pressure regarding her fertility timeline, sharing, “I feel like I have to have kids ASAP.”

The couple began dating in 2019, after being set up on a blind date by mutual friends. McCaffrey proposed in April 2023 and they celebrated their wedding a year later at the historic Watch Hill Chapel in Rhode Island.

Culpo has also talked about wanting to manage her fertility and mentioned plans to freeze her eggs, calling it a precautionary measure to ensure she could have children when the time is right.

Throughout their relationship, the couple has maintained a private lifestyle, but they have been supportive and candid about their romantic journey on social media and television. In an earlier TikTok video, Culpo shared how she had a realization during her single phase that she needed to remain open to finding love.

“For a while I thought I was going to be a bachelorette, but pray for your future husband. That’s what worked for me,” she recalled. “I wrote down specific things I wanted, and he checks all those boxes.”
