Ottawa Bluesfest Unveils Star-Studded 2025 Lineup with Green Day, Lainey Wilson

OTTAWA, Canada — The Ottawa Bluesfest has announced its highly anticipated 2025 lineup, featuring a diverse array of artists set to perform over nine nights from July 10 through 20 at LeBreton Flats.

Headliners for this year’s festival include rock legends Green Day, country music sensation Lainey Wilson, and renowned Montreal DJ Kaytranada. The festival kicks off on July 10 with Wilson and wraps up on July 20 with Kaytranada headlining the final night. Other major acts include Hozier, Def Leppard, and Papa Roach, ensuring a vibrant mix of genres from country to rock and electronic music.

“We are thrilled to bring such a diverse range of talent to the festival this year,” said Bluesfest organizer Mark Monahan. “This lineup truly reflects the eclectic nature of our audience and we can’t wait to see everyone at LeBreton Flats.”

The full festival passes go on sale on February 26 for $299 plus tax, which includes transportation fares for OC Transpo to and from the festival grounds. Single-day passes will be available starting February 27.

With its 31st edition, Ottawa Bluesfest continues to highlight an improving gender balance in its lineup. In previous years, headliners have been predominantly male, but this year features several prominent female artists, including Shania Twain, who returns on July 13.

Alongside headlining acts, the festival will showcase a range of emerging artists such as The Linda Lindas, who are set to support Green Day, and Charlotte Day Wilson, who will perform before Hozier. Also set to perform are ’90s alt-rock band Pixies, Montreal’s Men I Trust, and Grammy-nominated blues artist Sue Foley.

“This festival is important for showcasing both established and emerging talent,” emphasized Monahan. “We’re proud of the inclusivity we’re striving for this year.”
