Pamela Anderson revealed that her relationship with ex-husband Tommy Lee has grown distant in recent years. The 57-year-old actress made the admission during a Jan. 9 appearance on Sirius XM‘s ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,’ where she discussed her current rapport with the Mötley Crüe drummer, 62.

‘We used to talk a lot more,’ Anderson said. ‘Not recently, unfortunately, but you know, I wish we did have a better rapport right now.’ The former couple, who famously married in 1995 after a whirlwind romance, share two sons: Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 27. Despite their strained relationship, Anderson expressed optimism about reconnecting with Lee, especially as their youngest son, Dylan, is engaged and may soon start a family of his own.

‘We’re gonna have grandkids together,’ Anderson added. ‘It’ll be OK, eventually. It’s just kind of a moment right now.’

Anderson and Lee’s relationship has been tumultuous over the years. They divorced in 1998 after three years of marriage but have reunited and separated multiple times since. Anderson has been married three other times, while Lee has been married to comedian Brittany Furlan since 2019. Anderson has previously spoken positively about Furlan, calling her ‘great’ and supportive of Lee’s happiness.

Despite the current distance, Anderson emphasized that Lee remains an involved father. ‘They see him all the time,’ she said of their sons. She also reflected on their past relationship in her 2023 memoir, ‘Love, Pamela,’ writing, ‘My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love.’

Anderson’s new movie, ‘The Last Showgirl,’ premiered in theaters on Jan. 10. The film, directed by her son Brandon, marks a new chapter in her career as she continues to navigate her personal life and relationships.
