Party City Faces Closure with 80% Off Storewide Sale

Eatontown, New Jersey – Party City is offering massive discounts of up to 80% off at its brick-and-mortar locations in New Jersey as the retailer prepares to close its stores. This announcement comes after the company shuttered its online store, aiming to clear out its inventory before its impending shutdown.
The sales vary across different products, including costumes and party decorations. For example, the Eatontown location hosts several clearance sales, featuring Halloween costumes priced at either 80% off or a promotion that allows customers to buy four for just $5 each.
Additionally, themed birthday decorations are discounted by 60%, and latex balloons are available for 50 to 60% off. Mylar balloons have experienced the least discount at 20% off, while even shelving units are on sale by the square foot, providing customers with further opportunities to save.
Notable discounts include 70% off on Color City items, which feature vibrant rainbow accessories, including light-up cowboy hats priced at $5 each. Despite the significant markdowns, the Eatontown location has yet to announce a specific closing date.
However, two other Party City stores—one in Rockaway Township and the other in Paramus on Route 4—have confirmed they will close permanently on March 23.
