PBR Unleash The Beast Coming to Florida State’s Doak Campbell Stadium

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) will host the Unleash The Beast at Florida State University‘s Doak Campbell Stadium on March 13-14, 2026. This event marks the stadium’s first transformation into a bull riding and entertainment arena, featuring top bull riders competing for a $200,000 prize purse.
Over two electrifying nights, the world’s best competitors will face off in intense 8-second showdowns. Sean Gleason, CEO of PBR, emphasized the partnership with Florida State University as crucial for bringing elite bull riding to one of college football’s iconic venues. “This groundbreaking event is a win-win for fans and the university,” Gleason said.
Michael Alford, FSU’s Athletic Director, expressed excitement about this landmark event. “This is about more than just football; it’s a chance to bring economic and cultural opportunities to Tallahassee,” Alford stated.
The event will entail significant alterations to Doak Campbell Stadium, including the addition of 5.5 million pounds of dirt to cover approximately 30,000 square feet. The production will far exceed the scale of traditional PBR events, with enhanced sound, lighting, and video setups.
Following the bull riding competitions, each night will conclude with a concert featuring a major music act, details of which will be announced later. Ticket sales information will also be released in the coming weeks, promising an unforgettable experience for fans.
The Unleash The Beast series, part of PBR’s premier tour, showcases top athletes in the sport, both human and bovine, and counts toward qualifying for the PBR World Finals in Fort Worth, Texas. PBR events are broadcast on major networks, attracting thousands of fans and viewers each year.
