Penrith Panthers Secure Victory Over Blacktown in NSW Cup Showdown
The Penrith Panthers claimed a hard-fought victory against the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles in a thrilling clash at 4 Pines Park in the latest round of The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup.
Early in the match, Penrith’s Jordan Grant opened the scoring, setting the tone for a competitive game. However, Blacktown quickly responded through a well-executed play by Josh Schuster, resulting in a try for Watson Heleta.
Blacktown continued to push forward with Clayton Faulalo‘s dynamic play, assisting Brad Parker for another try, increasing their lead over the Panthers.
Penrith mounted a comeback with a fantastic combination between Trent Toelau and Mavrik Geyer, narrowing the gap on the scoreboard.
Just before halftime, Isaiah Iongi showcased his talents, making crucial plays that led to a try by David Fale and a sin-binning for Blacktown’s Aitasi James.
In the second half, Clayton Faulalo and the Sea Eagles fought hard, but Penrith’s Paul Alamoti managed to extend the lead for the Panthers with a well-crafted try.
