Pete Davidson Joins Nicholas Hoult in David Leitch’s Next Film Project

LOS ANGELES, April 17, 2025 – Comedian and actor Pete Davidson is in negotiations to co-star alongside Nicholas Hoult in the upcoming film “How to Rob a Bank,” directed by David Leitch. The movie, produced by Amazon MGM Studios, is expected to hit theaters following its release.
While specific plot details remain under wraps, the film is anticipated to deliver high-octane thrills, drawing on Leitch’s reputation for successful action films with engaging plotlines, like “Bullet Train” and “Deadpool 2.” Production will involve notable partners including Leitch’s company 87North Productions and Imagine Entertainment, led by Brian Grazer and Jeb Brody.
“David Leitch always draws top talent, and this project is no exception, with an A-list ensemble expected to join the cast,” said a source close to the development.
Davidson recently completed filming “The Pick Up” for Amazon MGM, where he stars alongside Keke Palmer and Eddie Murphy. He is also set to appear in A24‘s upcoming project “Wizards” and has been recognized for his work in the semi-autobiographical series “Bupkis,” which he co-created and executive produced.
Davidson gained fame as a cast member on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” from 2014 to 2022 before transitioning fully into film roles. His credits include critically acclaimed projects such as “The King of Staten Island” and “Bodies Bodies Bodies.” He is represented by WME and Ayala Cohen Management.
Leitch’s illustrious career began as a stunt performer, leading to his directorial debut with the acclaimed action film “John Wick” in 2014. Since then, he has directed several successful projects, including “Atomic Blonde” and the “Fast & Furious” spin-off “Hobbs & Shaw.” Davidson’s involvement adds another layer of excitement to what promises to be an engaging film.
As production for “How to Rob a Bank” continues, many are eager to see how this collaboration unfolds, particularly in the wake of Leitch’s prior successes. The film currently does not have an official release date, but its anticipated theatrical debut aligns with the studio’s goal of expanding its action genre offerings.
