Phoebe Bridgers Wins Big At 2024 Grammys

The 2024 Grammys concluded with Phoebe Bridgers emerging as the biggest winner, collecting four awards throughout the night. The ceremony, held in a rainy Los Angeles, saw a refreshing lack of dominance from any single artist, with no one reaching the record-breaking eight trophies achieved by Michael Jackson and Santana in previous years. Instead, it was Bridgers who took home the most honors.

Bridgers’ first win of the evening came alongside SZA, as they secured the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their collaboration, ‘Ghost in the Machine.’ From there, Bridgers continued to triumph, earning three more trophies as a member of the rock band Boygenius. The trio won Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for their track ‘Not Strong Enough,’ as well as Best Alternative Music Album for their release, ‘The Record.’

While SZA entered the night with the most nominations, she didn’t claim any of the top prizes as some had anticipated. However, she still had a successful evening, taking home three Grammys. In addition to her win for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Bridgers, SZA secured Best R&B Song for ‘Snooze’ and Best Progressive R&B Album for ‘SOS.’

This year’s Best New Artist, Victoria Monét, had an exceptional night as well. In addition to her coveted award, Monét also claimed two more Grammys. She won Best R&B Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical for her work on ‘Jaguar II.’

The evening was also memorable for rapper Killer Mike, who dominated the rap categories. His single, ‘Scientists & Engineers,’ featuring André 3000, Future, and Eryn Allen Kane, won both Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance. Additionally, Killer Mike’s album ‘Michael’ was awarded Best Rap Album.

Other notable artists who walked away with two wins each include Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Finneas, Miley Cyrus, Lecrae, Jason Isbell, Fred Again, Jack Antonoff, Chris Stapleton, and more.
