One Piece Anime Episodes 1123 1124 Premiere

Tokyo, Japan – After a six-month hiatus, the beloved anime series One Piece made a triumphant return with the double premiere of episodes #1123 and #1124. Enthusiastic fans can look forward to new adventures in episode #1125 and beyond, as the series picks up where it left off, diving into dramatic plot developments and captivating animation.

The show’s comeback follows the intense cliffhanger from its last episode, where York‘s betrayal of Vegapunk towards the World Government was set in dramatic motion. In the interim, critical events unfolded, including devastating losses incurred by Kid and Law against formidable foes Shanks and Blackbeard. Sabo also provided crucial insights into the events at Levely, unveiling the series’ overarching villain, Imu, while Garp charged to save Koby but was left behind. Thus far, the arc signifies one of the most riveting phases in One Piece, and anticipation runs high as the story picks back up.

One Piece continues to stream new episodes weekly on Crunchyroll and Netflix, accessible via their platforms or third-party services such as Amazon Prime. The latest episodes now air on Sundays in Japan, with episode #1125 scheduled to debut on April 13 at 8:45 AM PST, 11:45 AM EST, and 4:45 PM BST. This weekly schedule is expected to remain as episodes roll out every Sunday.

Episode #1123, titled “The World Shakes! The Straw Hats’ Hostage Situation,” began with a recap of preceding events where the world reacted to Garp’s defeat by the Blackbeard Pirates and Luffy’s allegations of taking Vegapunk hostage. Tensions heightened as islands worldwide faced catastrophic earthquakes and floods following Imu’s attack on Lulusia, which led to a dramatic one-meter rise in ocean levels. Amid these tumultuous events, York negotiated with the Five Elders regarding her potential ascension as a Celestial Dragon while managing to keep the Straw Hats and allies at bay.

Meanwhile, episode #1124, “Completely Surrounded! The Operation to Escape Egghead,” picked up from episode #1123, showing the Straw Hats overcoming York’s schemes. In a significant twist, Robin quelled York’s potentially lethal move on Vegapunk, while Zoro and Sanji battled the formidable Seraphim. Once the chaos subsided, Egghead remained encircled by the Marine fleet, and tensions rose as Kizaru was instructed to expedite an assault on Vegapunk.

Despite the thrilling return of One Piece, some critiques have surfaced regarding the portrayal of certain characters. Notably, the anime was criticized for sidelining Sanji in prominent scenes and altering his interactions with Bonney, deviating from the manga’s narrative, which characterized his behavior around Bonney differently.

Nevertheless, episodes #1123 and #1124 have showcased exceptional animation quality, emphasizing the series’s strong visual artistry and adherence to story elements designed by creator Eiichiro Oda. With Wataru Matsumi taking the reins as series director from the acclaimed Tatsuya Nagamine, the transition appears to be well-received as the series maintains its high standards of storytelling and artistic presentation.

As the drama intensifies and plot arcs evolve, fans are eagerly awaiting episode #1125, set to premiere on April 13. One Piece’s revival promises to satisfy the long-anticipated cravings of its audience, poised to continue its legacy as one of the most cherished anime franchises in history.
