Pokémon Announces Celestial Guardians Expansion for TCG Pocket

Bellevue, Wash. — April 24, 2025 — The Pokémon Company International has announced the upcoming release of the Celestial Guardians expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket app, set to launch worldwide on April 30 at 7:00 a.m. BST, or April 29 at 11:00 p.m. PDT for players in parts of the USA and Canada.
This new expansion will feature over 200 collectible cards, including the first partners from the Alola region: Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio, along with the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala. Players can expect to explore two new digital booster packs that spotlight these fan-favorite Pokémon.
The Celestial Guardians expansion will also introduce the first Immersive Supporter card, a new Lillie card, adding even more depth to gameplay. “In Celestial Guardians, players can discover Pokémon as seen in the Sun and Moon video games,” stated The Pokémon Company in a press release.
Additionally, the exciting launch is accompanied by a special round of missions and solo battles starting on April 29 at 11:00 p.m. PDT. Players can participate in these solo battles until May 12 at 10:59 p.m. PDT for a chance to earn Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7 boosters, which includes a promo card featuring Rayquaza ex.
From April 29 to May 28, players can complete special missions for a chance to receive a full-art version of Rayquaza ex and other rewards. The Pokémon Company encourages Trainers to join in the festivities during the half-year celebration of Pokémon TCG Pocket.
