Portland Timbers Host San Diego FC on MLS Decision Day

PORTLAND, Oregon — The Portland Timbers will host San Diego FC at Providence Park on Saturday at 6 p.m. PT for Decision Day in Major League Soccer. The match is crucial for the Timbers, who have already secured a playoff spot but need the game to determine their postseason seeding.

The Timbers can secure their opponent for the playoffs depending on the outcomes of other matches. If LAFC and Minnesota do not win their matches, the Timbers will face San Diego in the first round.

This weekend, all 15 MLS matches take place simultaneously to determine playoff positions. Atlanta United will host D.C. United, and other matches are scheduled including New England Revolution against Chicago Fire and Toronto FC versus Orlando City, all set for the same time slot of 6 p.m. ET.
