Post Malone’s Highly Anticipated Performance at Festival d’été de Québec Draws Massive Crowd
Post Malone‘s performance at the Festival d'été de Québec on Friday evening drew a massive crowd, causing the organizers to restrict access to the site. A sea of fans attempted to make their way into what was clearly the most anticipated concert of the 2024 edition.
By 8:30 PM, the Festival d’été organization had already announced on social media that festival-goers should head towards the Cap-Blanc entrance to facilitate access. However, a few minutes later, another message was posted to announce the closure of the site.
“For the comfort and safety of the festival-goers on site, the two entrances that allow access to the Plaines are now closed,” read the announcement.
A massive crowd gathered outside the Croix du sacrifice entrance for the only Canadian stop of the 29-year-old American artist.
Meanwhile, thousands of people also lined up at the Cap-Blanc entrance in an attempt to catch a glimpse of Post Malone’s performance.
Although large crowds had already gathered for the shows of 50 Cent and The Offspring, the closure of the Plaines d’Abraham was unprecedented up until this point.
