Post Malone Teams Up with Oreo for Limited-Edition Cookie Collaboration
NEW YORK, N.Y. — Post Malone, the rapper-turned-country star, has partnered with Oreo to launch a limited-edition cookie collaboration, marking a first-of-its-kind twist on the iconic treat. The announcement comes as Malone continues to ride the success of his latest album, which features collaborations with country music legends like Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, and Blake Shelton.
The Post Malone Oreo cookies feature a unique swirled creme combining salted caramel and shortbread flavors, sandwiched between one chocolate and one golden Oreo cookie. The packaging also includes nine embossments representing Malone’s career, such as a guitar pick, butterfly, truck, and chains. “It’s going to (expletive) your life up, in the best way,” Malone told USA TODAY about the collaboration.
Malone, who has been a lifelong Oreo fan, revealed that salted caramel has been his go-to flavor for the past two years, making it a natural choice for the collaboration. His favorite Oreo variant, aside from his own creation, is the golden Oreo. “It was love at first bite, to be poetic,” he said of the final product.
The limited-edition cookies will be available for presale on the Oreo website starting Monday, Jan. 27, with nationwide retail availability beginning Feb. 3. Fans can sign up for early access starting Wednesday. Malone, a self-proclaimed “purist,” shared that his preferred way to enjoy Oreos is plain, comparing it to eating a classic cheese pizza. “You just got to eat the Oreo the way that it is, and that’s the best way to do it,” he said.
This collaboration follows Malone’s critically acclaimed album, which earned seven Grammy nominations, including “Best Country Album” and “Best Country Song.” Malone is also set to embark on a nationwide tour, kicking off in Salt Lake City, Utah, in April and concluding in San Francisco in July.
