Powerball Lottery Tickets On A Table

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Powerball lottery jackpot has risen to an estimated $353 million following the latest drawing on Monday, March 10, 2025. No one won the jackpot, but many players across the state achieved smaller wins.

The winning numbers from the Monday drawing were 17, 40, 47, 50, 55, with a Powerball of 6 and a Power Play multiplier of 2x. Lottery officials announced that players across Ohio achieved numerous prizes ranging from small amounts to several hundred thousand dollars.

The cash option for the upcoming jackpot is approximately $165.7 million. Players have the opportunity to purchase tickets until 9:45 p.m. on the night of the drawing, which occurs every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time.

“Although we didn’t have a jackpot winner this time, we’re excited to see how many Ohio residents won other prizes,” said a spokesperson for the Ohio Lottery. “The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are currently better than those of winning the Mega Millions, making it a popular choice.”

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are approximately one in 292.2 million, while the likelihood of hitting a $1 million winning ticket stands at one in 11,688,053.52.

The Powerball lottery is played in 45 states, including the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. Ohio residents can participate in the Double Play feature, which allows another chance to win with a separate drawing. The Double Play drawing occurs after the main drawing, offering a top cash prize of $10 million.

For $2, players can purchase a ticket for a chance at the jackpot, with an additional $1 fee for the Power Play option, which multiplies non-jackpot winnings by up to 10 times. As a reminder, the deadline to buy Powerball tickets varies by state, so players should check local regulations.
