Prince William Shares Unseen Photos of Himself and Princess Diana Ahead of Homelessness Documentary
Prince William has released previously unseen photos of himself and his late mother, Princess Diana, in anticipation of his new documentary on ending homelessness. The photos, shared via The Passage, a charity dedicated to ensuring everyone has a home, were posted on the organization’s Instagram account.
The images depict a young Prince William and his mother, along with his brother Prince Harry, visiting The Passage’s center and interacting with guests. This release is part of the promotion for the upcoming two-part documentary, ‘Prince William: We Can End Homelessness,’ which will air on ITV1 on October 30 and 31 at 9pm GMT.
The documentary follows Prince William’s new initiative, @homewardsuk, a five-year program aimed at changing perceptions and demonstrating the possibility of ending homelessness. The Passage’s Chief Executive, Mick Clarke, highlighted that Prince William’s involvement with the issue dates back to when his mother took him to The Passage at the age of 11.
Prince William reflected on the impact of these early experiences, stating, “My mother took me to The Passage; she took Harry and I both there. I must have been 11 at the time, maybe 10. I had never been to anything like that before, and I was a bit anxious about what to expect.” He also addressed criticism about his privileged background, emphasizing that criticism drives him forward and that he aims to bring hope and optimism to a cause that has long been neglected.
