Princess Charlene Becomes Honorary President Of Pink Ribbon Monaco

The fight against breast cancer receives a significant boost as Princess Charlene of Monaco is appointed as the Honorary President of Pink Ribbon Monaco. The announcement was made on Tuesday, 16 January, solidifying Princess Charlene’s dedication to women’s health and the battle against breast cancer.

Princess Charlene, known for her dedication to philanthropy, has been an ardent supporter of various causes through her Foundation. Her alignment with Pink Ribbon Monaco’s values on health makes her an excellent advocate for women’s health.

Pink Ribbon Monaco, a charity established in 2011, has been actively campaigning against breast cancer and raising awareness of the disease. The appointment of Princess Charlene as the Honorary President will further strengthen the organization’s mission, emphasizing the importance of fighting breast cancer.

In just a few weeks, Pink Ribbon Monaco will host a grand gala and auction at the prestigious Casino de Monte-Carlo on 2 February. The event aims to raise funds for Dr Hugonnet’s research on combating breast cancer. Dr Hugonnet, a specialist in nuclear medicine at the CHPG, is dedicated to finding innovative ways to treat and prevent breast cancer.

Following the gala, on 11 February, the 12th annual Pink Ribbon charity walk will take place at Port Hercule. The event encourages participation from individuals of all ages and backgrounds to promote awareness and support the fight against breast cancer.

Princess Charlene’s commitment to charitable causes extends beyond Pink Ribbon Monaco. She is also involved with her own Foundation and serves as the Vice-President of the Monegasque Red Cross. With her active involvement, the fight against breast cancer will receive a significant boost, inspiring hope in countless individuals.
