Production of ‘Lone Wolf’ Conspiracy Thriller Wraps in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Principal photography for the conspiracy thriller Lone Wolf wrapped at the end of February in Albuquerque, featuring Oscar nominees Lily Gladstone and Bryan Cranston. Directed by Mark Pellington, the film explores themes of betrayal and political intrigue, following a troubled marine veteran entangled in a dark conspiracy.
The cast also includes O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jennifer Ehle, Chet Hanks, and Spencer Garrett. The screenplay, penned by Tom Chilcoat, tells the story of a marine vet (Gladstone) who is drawn into a plot orchestrated by a mercenary (Cranston) aimed at political assassination.
“Collaborating with industry powerhouses like Ted and Christine is an extraordinary opportunity,” said producer Jordan Wagner of Wagner Entertainment. “Their expertise and passion for storytelling, combined with Mark Pellington’s unique vision and the remarkable cast, create a foundation for a truly special film.”
Pellington, known for his previous works including Arlington Road, echoed Wagner’s sentiment, stating, “I can’t imagine a better cast to enhance this provocative and evocative film. A day doesn’t pass without the script growing more prescient.”
The film is being produced by Ted Hope of Double Hope and Christine Vachon of Killer Films, along with Wagner Entertainment. Executive producers include Sean Krajewski, Ronnie Exley, Lawrence Minicone, and Jeremy Ross of Rabbits Black, which invests in various entertainment ventures.
Sales for Lone Wolf are being handled by UTA Independent Film Group. The film, which began production towards the end of February, is expected to generate significant interest due to its impressive cast and Pellington’s directorial style.
As of now, a release date for Lone Wolf has not been announced. However, with the film’s completion, industry analysts are eager to see how it performs in the evolving landscape of political thrillers.
