Rae High Fashion Music Video Teaser

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Rae is set to release her new single, “High Fashion,” on Feb. 14, 2025, showcasing her evolution from social media sensation to pop artist. The teaser, released Monday, features Rae in various eye-catching visuals, including a feather boa and a rain-soaked forest, punctuated by the bold declaration: “I don’t need your drugs, I’d rather get high fashion.”

This marks Rae’s first single of the year as she builds on the success of her previous releases, including the alt-pop track “Diet Pepsi,” which became her first significant hit, and “Aquamarine,” released in October 2024.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Rae expressed her desire to step away from her social media persona, which boasts 88.5 million followers on TikTok, and focus on music and acting. “As soon as I got the opportunity to start writing music and acting, I did,” Rae said. “When I moved here, I was like, ‘OK, I have to start acting classes. I have to start singing. I have to start these things immediately because I’m already so behind.’”

Rae first performed publicly during Charli XCX’s Boiler Room set in February 2024, where she showcased her song “2 Die For” from her EP, AR. The collaboration continued the following month with a remix of XCX’s “Von Dutch,” in which Rae delivered a now-viral primal scream. She also joined Charli XCX and Troye Sivan on the Sweat Tour in New York.

The upcoming album, currently untitled and in progress, will include the previously released singles “Diet Pepsi,” “Aquamarine,” and Rae’s 2021 hit “Obsessed.”
