DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – Legendary country music star Randy Travis will bring his “More Life Tour” to the Dothan Civic Center on September 27, 2025. The tour, announced recently, aims to create an unforgettable experience for fans while celebrating the artist’s extensive career.

The “More Life Tour” kicks off on March 20 and will run through November 2025. The tour, featuring Travis’s co-star in The Price, James Dupré, will include iconic hits such as ‘On the Other Hand,’ ‘Forever and Ever, Amen,’ and ‘Three Wooden Crosses.’ Although Travis suffered a stroke in 2013 that affected his ability to perform, he will make special appearances at the shows, interacting with Dupré and the band.

“The ‘More Life Tour’ celebrates something so much more than a musical moment in time — it’s a gift to me to spend time with my fans, and my band, as James Dupré perfectly presents the songs that best define my career,” Travis shared in a statement. “We look forward to seeing you all somewhere along the way.”

Dupré and Travis’s original touring band, which includes Steve Hinson, David Johnson, Lance Dary, Bill Cook, Joe Van Dyke, and Herb Shucher, will perform all 16 of Travis’s greatest hits during the tour. Travis, who has been a pioneer in using artificial intelligence to recapture his musical essence, recently released singles that reflect his iconic vocal style through technology.

Tickets for the Dothan concert will start at $49, with presale beginning Thursday, March 6, at 10 a.m., using the code LoveDothan. General ticket sales will commence on March 7 at 10 a.m. VIP passes will also be available, offering fans a chance to meet Travis and Dupré.

This tour marks a significant return for Travis, whose long-standing career in country music has shaped the genre significantly since the late 1980s. He continues to engage his fan base through innovative methods as he navigates the challenges posed by his health.
