LOS GATOS, Calif. — The highly anticipated third season of Amazon Prime Video’s action drama “Reacher” is set to premiere on February 20, 2025. The series stars Alan Ritchson in the titular role, and this season will kick off with three new episodes dropping simultaneously, followed by additional episodes released weekly.

Based on the novel “Persuader” by Lee Child, season 3 follows Jack Reacher as he dives into a perilous quest to save an undercover DEA informant from a dangerous criminal syndicate. The series synopsis hints at intense themes of secrecy, violence, and personal confrontations, marking a consequential chapter in Reacher’s journey.

The trailer, unveiled in January 2025, hints at explosive confrontations and a showdown with a new imposing rival named Paulie, portrayed by Olivier Richters. Richters stands at 7-foot-2, providing a physical contrast to Ritchson’s formidable but shorter frame of 6-foot-3. In one memorable scene captured in the trailer, Reacher engages in an arm-wrestling match with Paulie, who humorously incapacitates himself.

“He’s twice my size,” Reacher quips in the trailer, which hints at the heightened stakes of this season’s storyline. This season promises to blend action, romance, and major twist revelations that are bound to captivate fans.

Returning alongside Alan Ritchson are key cast members including Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, a close ally from Reacher’s military past. Anthony Michael Hall joins the cast as Zachary Beck, while other newcomers include Brian Tee as Quinn and Sonya Cassidy as Susan Duffy.

Vernon Sanders, Head of Television at Amazon MGM Studios, stated, “Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations. We are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season.” The show’s success has already led to a fourth season renewal.

Following its February premiere, fans can expect episodes every Thursday, continuing the gripping narrative from earlier seasons that has significantly drawn in viewers.
