Reality Tv Star Ashley Cain Welcomes Son Two Years After Daughter's Death

Ashley Cain, well-known for his appearances on the reality TV show Ex on the Beach, has announced the joyous arrival of his baby boy, Aliyas Diamond Cain. This comes just two years after the tragic loss of his daughter, Azaylia, who bravely battled acute myeloid leukemia. Cain shared a heartwarming photo of his newborn son on Instagram, revealing that he had chosen to honor his late daughter by giving his son the middle name Diamond.

In an emotional caption accompanying the photo, Cain expressed his love and dedication to his son. He acknowledged the role Azaylia now plays as a guardian angel watching over Aliyas, and warmly welcomed his son to the world, wishing him strength, wisdom, love, and a powerful spirit.

Ashley Cain has not publicly disclosed the identity of his son’s mother. However, he confirmed that they have been friends since they were 18 and have had an on-and-off relationship over the years. Earlier this year, he spoke about the difficulty of navigating the possibility of becoming a father again after the loss of one child, but ultimately recognized the blessing that each child brings to the world.

Azaylia’s battle with acute myeloid leukemia began when she was just eight weeks old. She underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant at Children's Hospital. Despite the efforts to save her life, she sadly passed away at the age of eight months in April 2021.

Shortly before Ashley shared the news of his son’s birth, his ex-partner Safiyya Vorajee, Azaylia’s mother, took to Instagram to express her own journey of resilience. Treasuring the power of wearing a brave face, she encouraged her followers to be kind to others and to love themselves a little more each day.

Coping with the grief of losing Azaylia, Safiyya also shared a touching moment when she visited her daughter’s grave and lit a candle. Witnessing a beautiful sunset, she felt a sense of Azaylia’s presence, providing comfort and solace.
