Record Breaking Nominations And Star Studded Performances Await At The 66th Annual Grammy Awards

The highly anticipated 66th Annual Grammy Awards are just around the corner, promising an unforgettable night of music and celebration.

As music’s biggest night approaches, the Recording Academy has announced this year’s nominees, dominated by women who have made significant contributions to the music industry. Leading the pack are Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and SZA, all vying for prestigious awards like Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Meanwhile, fan-favorite Billie Eilish is gunning for a second win, nominated for both Record and Song of the Year. Notably, Lana Del Rey finds herself in contention for top honors in both the Song and Album of the Year categories, which could mark her first Grammy wins.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards are set to take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, a venue long associated with the prestigious music awards.

The star-studded ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS and available for streaming on Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. However, only Paramount+ subscribers with SHOWTIME can access the live feed. For those without live streaming capabilities, fear not! The Grammys’ pre-show Premiere Ceremony, where most awards will be presented, will be available for streaming on Grammy.com and the Recording Academy’s website starting at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT.

Before the main event, E! will host two pre-show specials, “Countdown to the Red Carpet” at 7 p.m. ET and “Live from the Red Carpet” at 9 p.m. ET, ensuring fans don’t miss a moment of the glamorous red carpet arrivals.

Returning for his fourth consecutive year as host, Trevor Noah will take the helm of the Grammy Awards, bringing his signature wit and charm to the stage. Additionally, Noah himself is nominated for Best Comedy Album for his special, “I Wish You Would.” Reflecting on his role as host and nominee, Noah expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m glad that it’s happening in my fourth year because I think, in my first year, that would’ve been an emotional overload. Being nominated for a Grammy is so momentous that I don’t know how you could focus on hosting a show at the same time.”

Alongside Trevor Noah’s hosting duties, fans can look forward to unforgettable performances by an incredible lineup of artists. The Recording Academy has announced that SZA, Billie Eilish, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa, Joni Mitchell, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Travis Scott, and U2 will all take the stage at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.

Despite earlier speculation, Taylor Swift will not be performing at this year’s Grammy Awards. However, Swift will be in attendance as she is up for six awards, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year. The pop star’s record-breaking Eras tour is set to resume in Tokyo on February 7, hindering her ability to perform at the music ceremony.

With an illustrious history of hosts such as Alicia Keys, James Corden, LL Cool J, Queen Latifah, and Jon Stewart, the Grammy Awards remain a highly anticipated event in the music industry.
