Red Arrows to Grace Skies Over Lancashire and Greater Manchester at Southport Air Show
The iconic display team, Red Arrows, is all set to dazzle the skies over Lancashire and Greater Manchester as they gear up for an exhilarating performance at the upcoming Southport Air Show this weekend. The renowned team is expected to take flight from their base at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, with a spectacular aerial display planned en route to the event.
As per the latest flight path predictions, the Red Arrows will traverse over regions including Greater Manchester and Lancashire, offering enthusiasts in areas such as Skelmersdale, Burscough, Standish, Horwich, Eagley, and Littleborough a chance to witness the impressive aerial acrobatics. The team is scheduled to depart from RAF Waddington around 2.15 PM and make a pitstop in Liverpool before making their grand entrance at the Southport Air Show at precisely 5 PM.
The squad is anticipated to retrace their flight path on Sunday, presenting another opportunity for spectators to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows as they grace the skies once again. Departing from Liverpool at roughly 7.20 PM, residents in Skelmersdale, Appley Bridge, Standish, Horwich, Eagley, and Littleborough can expect to witness the spectacular display between 7.20 and 7.27 PM, before the team concludes their journey back at RAF Waddington around 7.41 PM.
The Southport Air Show, slated to be held on Southport Beach on July 13 and 14, promises an exciting lineup of events and aerial displays. General admission tickets start at £12.90, with complimentary entry for children under the age of 16.
