Advanced Irrigation Management Technology Platform

SEWARD, Neb. — Reinke Manufacturing unveiled its upgraded irrigation data platform, ReinCloud 3, which aims to revolutionize the way farmers manage irrigation amid evolving water management challenges. The new version, launched on March 25, 2025, is designed to provide growers with enhanced data insights and precision irrigation capabilities.

Since its initial release in 2016, ReinCloud has enabled farmers to manage their irrigation systems remotely. With ReinCloud 3, the company enhances its offerings to help growers optimize water usage and improve crop yields effectively.

“It’s a completely redesigned webpage, which allows growers to customize the dashboard to monitor what’s important to them,” stated Chris Roth, president of Reinke Manufacturing. He noted that functionalities could be tailored based on individual needs, whether farmers are interested in water flow or applied water metrics.

Technological advancements in farming practices are becoming increasingly crucial, Roth explained, emphasizing that “farmers cannot be everywhere at once, but with ReinCloud 3, they can make precision irrigation decisions from anywhere, ensuring real-time farming capabilities.”

One of the key enhancements of ReinCloud 3 is its backward compatibility, allowing existing users to upgrade without incurring additional costs. Roth emphasized that current ReinCloud users could transition easily through their dealers, ensuring all existing devices remain functional with the newest version.

“Any devices that are currently running on the existing ReinCloud will work on ReinCloud 3,” Roth confirmed. “So, you do not have to have a new device to make it work.”

The new platform is integrated with Reinke’s latest hardware, RC3, which facilitates seamless remote access, monitoring, and control of in-field equipment. Cody Bailey, director of product management, noted that this hardware upgrade brings enhanced security and faster data transmission speeds, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi options. “This means growers can have near-instantaneous irrigation adjustments, leading to more efficient water use and crop health management,” he said.

Advanced features like integration with CropX soil moisture probes and evapotranspiration monitoring will offer farmers field-specific insights to determine optimal irrigation schedules and nutrient applications. “What we’re seeing in agriculture is an increasing need for data visualization and real-time decision-making,” Bailey remarked. “ReinCloud 3 allows growers to overlay mapping data with irrigation insights, helping them fine-tune their water management strategies for better efficiency and yield outcomes.”

Reinke Manufacturing also has plans to expand the ReinCloud platform further. The upcoming E3 precision series of center pivot systems will promote even greater integration with ReinCloud 3, providing a comprehensive suite of tools for precision irrigation.

As the agricultural sector increasingly focuses on water efficiency, ReinCloud 3 equips farmers with essential tools to manage irrigation and resources effectively. “We want growers to feel like we’re their back-of-house IT support, helping them succeed season after season,” Bailey stated.
