The veteran statesman, known for his unwavering commitment to public service, particularly in the field of information dissemination, leaves behind a legacy revered by many in his home state and beyond.
Shehu Sani, a notable human rights activist and ex-lawmaker, expressed his sorrow on Friday over Ali’s demise, referring to the late icon as a ‘human library’ with an unparalleled ability to recount the intricate details of Nigeria’s history.
Ali’s contributions spanned various notable institutions, including the Nigerian International Press Centre, the Ministry of Information, and the National Broadcasting Commission, where his dedication and expertise left a lasting impact.
