Richard Branson’s Luxurious Day in the Bahamas with Virgin Voyages

BIMINI, Bahamas — Billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson showcased his vibrant lifestyle during a special cruise aboard Virgin Voyages‘ Valiant Lady, which he joined on May 8.
The 74-year-old founder of the Virgin Group, which manages over 40 companies in more than 35 countries, began his day with a piña colada at 10 a.m. He greeted a group of journalists at Richard’s Rooftop, an exclusive bar on the cruise ship.
Branson, known for his energetic spirit, engaged in an impromptu chess game before discussing the upcoming launch of a new Virgin Voyages ship, Brilliant Lady. The fourth ship in the fleet is set to sail from New York in September 2025.
“When we started Virgin Voyages, we had a rocky start,” Branson shared. “It’s great to finally have a fourth ship doing some exciting routes.”
After the meet and greet, he and his team made their way to Virgin Voyages’ private Beach Club in Bimini, where he relaxed in a secluded Airstream trailer.
Later, Branson made waves by spontaneously cannonballing into the club’s lagoon-style pool, much to the delight of nearby guests. He celebrated with a bottle of champagne, soaking partygoers as they danced to the music.
During the afternoon, he mingled with fans and joined Grammy winner Nicky Jam, who headlined a performance later that evening on the cruise ship.
Branson concluded his remarkable day by flying back to Miami around 7 p.m., recharging for another eventful day ahead.
